Kinja'd!!!

Three weeks or so in and I am still in love. I wrote something about it for Hooniverse that I will share on here when that goes up. Combine the lovely new car with a good uptick in freelancing work and I’m pretty happy.

May I ask what sort of freelance work do you do?

Arts related?

Automotive stuff still! Everywhere from smaller blogs, to tuner shops, to an article here at Jalopnik.

That’s awesome! I’m an NA owner myself. The Miata is the car that got me into cars. So much fun.

One of my dreams is to open my own Repair and Restoration shop for Japanese classics. I recently bought a 300$ ‘77 Civic to practice tear down and rebuild of old cars. Loving it so far! Japan for the win

Make sure you wave at any and all other Miatas. I wave at every NA, NB, NC, and ND that I see. Sure, the old people in NCs tend to not wave back very often but that doesn’t mean I am going to stop trying! Even once waved at a Miata in Toronto and got a very enthusiastic double wave back. They must have got a kick out of my NJ plates being all the way up there. Anyways, welcome to the family! Time for some CONESSSS!!!!

Nice, as a NB2 owner I welcome you to Miata-World ( TM )! That said, make sure to keep up with maintenance and whatnot, it’s a fun car and all but it’s still at least 15 years old by now.
